This recycled glassware is created from discarded soda and beer bottles that are melted down, tinted and given new life as drinking glasses, mugs and pitchers. Produced in Guatemala by a glassblowing cooperative that provides dignified income, skills development and medical assistance to its 33 members. In addition to purchasing a new fire truck, the cooperative has used its profits to improve the rural, impoverished community's roads, drainage system and healthcare options.
