Equita cordially invites you to an evening of short films by, for, and about women. The sixth annual Lunafest Film Festival will be making a stop in Pittsburgh, Tuesday, March 20, at Chatham College.

The acclaimed traveling festival will be screening nine short films that celebrate women in our local and global communities, in genres ranging from animation to documentaries. The women filmmakers and the stories they tell come to us from Ireland, Mexico, India, U.S., China and the UK. This year's films first made their debuts in top festivals such as Tribeca, L.A. Short Film Festival and the London International Film Festival.

Proceeds of the event benefit Breast Cancer Fund, a San Francisco based non-profit working to identify the environmental and other preventable causes of the disease.

Lunafest is sponsored by Luna Bar and Chatham College.

Meet local organizations and businesses by, for, and about women at the pre-show reception. Stop by the Equita table to check out a display of products made by women's cooperatives and enterprises from around the world.
