Lenore Collection is a collaboration between California-based designer Lenore Española and Philippines-based master weaver Lulu Ocampo. Together they established a Fair Trade partnership with cooperatives in the Philippines to create fashion-forward handbags from post-consumer recycled newspapers, magazines, telephone directories, posters and other paper products. The social enterprise model provides both meaningful employment and an innovative way to recycle tons of paper refuse.
